Campmeeting, Is That You?!

Rain, a chill, wind, bugs, sun, heat, friends, family, and fellowship! All the makings for a good campmeeting weekend to debut The Simply Elegant Organization!  After several conversations with Youth Ministries Director Patrick Graham, we received a welcomed invitation to come to the AEC Campmeeting for opening weekend. Our staff, displaying their SECB t-shirts, made the drive up to the Pine Forge Academy campus. A worship filled Sabbath with people from all areas. We were also able to witness on Sunday the high energy activities of the Pathfinder Fair.

Saturday and Sunday were awesome for SECB! We are so blessed to have received such welcoming and motivating responses. We were given an opportunity to setup an information tent by the “famous” snack bar. After sunset we began our bake sale with lots of homemade goodies donated by supporters! There were many positive conversations with people grateful that our program, is being offered in this area. And grateful for the positive “Christian mentorship mindset that our young people desperately need.”

This weekend our purpose was to inform first and fund raise second. Our success in both was a testament to our potential! There are people praying for us!
